Winter Wonderland

To continue catching up on our holiday adventures, after Christmas we took Jessica's mom to Kincaid Park so that she could see the kids sledding down the big hill. It was cold. With the wind coming off of Cook Inlet, the wind chill factor must have made it ten below zero. Still, a good time was had by all.

Connor contemplates trouble while enjoying the perks of his new sled that Grandma Kathy got him for Christmas. It was cold, but Connor was snug as a bug in a rug.

While it was cold, we were able to convice Grandma to leave the comfort of the chalet to get a picture with her boys in the snow. Yes, that IS Kieirin and Connor under those clothes. If you look closely, you can make out Kierin's eyes.

It was fun to sled, but tiring, too!

Christmas Day!

Christmas day was a very joyous event at the Frick Jr household. Santa was very good to everyone and all the presents were beautiful and gratefully accepted. It was Connor's first Christmas, so we wanted to make sure that we went all out to celebrate the holiday.

Kierin could hardly wait to open his new presents, but he was VERY well behaved and even was able to wait while Connor (and Mommy and Daddy) took turns opening presents. Thank you to everybody!!

Kierin models his new cowboy dudes. Howdy Partner!

Connor says hello to all of you out there in bloggerland!

Connor helps Big Brother open a Christmas present (much to Kierin's irritation!).

'Twas The Night Before Christmas...

On Christmas Eve, all of the Alaskan Fricks got together at our house to have cake and spend time together. Then we all went to church for the Christmas Eve service. Connor and I spent much time in the cry room or walking around the church since it was after his bedtime and he was a little fussy.

Kierin and Connor wanted to get a Christmas picture with Kierin's good friends, Michael and Jack.

Once at home, the boys were allowed to open one present-Christmas Jammies!

Well, Let's Get Caught Up...

Sorry everyone. I haven't really had time to update this blog since before Christmas. You would think that we would have more time to update the blog, but we are actually busier when we're home all day. On top of all that, 3 out of 4 Frick Jrs have been sick this week-Larry, Kierin, and Connor. Anyway, I will now try to get everyone caught up on what has been going on here at the Frick Mansion over the Christmas Break.

First of all, the Sunday before Christmas our Church had their Christmas pageant. Both Kierin and Connor played sheep! And they are the cutest sheep ever!

We were lucky enough to have Jessica's mother come to spend the holidays with us. One of the first things they all did was to create a beautiful (and delicious!) ginger bread house. Kierin especially enjoyed putting it together.
